ORBIT-12 offers two different birth-chart experiences, and they handle your information in different ways.
The Free BaZi Profile processes the birth details you enter directly in your browser. The calculator does not send those birth details to ORBIT-12 for storage.
The Entity Blueprint is a personalized paid report. To create and deliver it, ORBIT-12 needs to receive certain birth information, including your birth date, time, gender, location, and delivery email.
Birth information is personal and permanent. Our approach is therefore simple:
Collect only what is needed, use it only for the stated purpose, and retain it no longer than necessary.

Two Products, Two Different Data Flows
The Free BaZi Profile and the Entity Blueprint are not the same service.
The Free Profile is an instant browser-based tool. The Entity Blueprint is a personalized report that must be generated and delivered after purchase.

Flow A: The Free BaZi Profile
The ORBIT-12 Free BaZi Profile uses client-side code to calculate your result on your own device.
You enter your birth details into the calculator, and the calculation runs inside your browser. The calculator does not transmit those birth details to ORBIT-12 for storage.
The Free Profile does not require:
- Your name
- Your email address
- An ORBIT-12 account
- A payment
The calculator itself does not create a saved birth-chart history. When your browser session ends or the page is refreshed, the calculator does not retain a stored ORBIT-12 copy of the birth details you entered.

This applies specifically to the birth details entered into the Free BaZi Profile.
Like most ecommerce websites, the wider ORBIT-12 website may still use essential services, analytics, security tools, or commerce technologies that process technical information such as browser data or IP address. Those services are governed by the ORBIT-12 Privacy Policy and are separate from the Free Profile’s birth-data calculation.

Flow B: The Entity Blueprint
The Entity Blueprint requires a different process because it is created individually for each customer.
To prepare the report, ORBIT-12 may request:
- Birth date
- Birth time
- Gender
- Birth location
- Delivery email
These details are used to generate and deliver your personalized BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu report.
Your birth location may be used where location or time adjustment is relevant to the chart-generation process. Your email is used to connect the submission with your purchase and deliver the completed report.
Shopify Order Data and Birth Data Are Different
When you purchase through Shopify, Shopify processes normal ecommerce information such as:
- Your name
- Your contact email
- Your billing or payment information
- Your order details
This information is required to process the transaction, provide customer service, prevent fraud, and maintain legally required business records.
Your chart-generation information serves a different purpose. It is collected because ORBIT-12 needs it to prepare the personalized Blueprint.
Buying an Entity Blueprint therefore creates two categories of information:
- Commerce information connected with your Shopify order
- Birth information used to generate your personalized report
These categories may have different retention requirements.
How Long Is Blueprint Birth Data Retained?
Birth information submitted for an Entity Blueprint is retained for no longer than 90 days after delivery, unless a shorter period is appropriate.
It may be deleted earlier when:
- The report has been successfully delivered
- The information is no longer needed for customer support
- You request earlier deletion
- There is no remaining operational reason to retain it
The temporary support period allows ORBIT-12 to help with issues such as:
- Re-sending a report that was not received
- Correcting information submitted by mistake
- Resolving a delivery problem
- Confirming which report belongs to an order
The phrase “within 90 days” means 90 days is the maximum intended retention period for the Blueprint birth information. It does not mean the information must always be kept for exactly 90 days.
What May Remain After the Birth Data Is Deleted?
Deleting Blueprint birth information does not necessarily delete every record connected with the purchase.
Certain information may remain where required for legitimate business, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, tax, or legal purposes. This may include:
- Your Shopify order record
- Payment and transaction records
- Customer-service correspondence
- Delivery records
If you separately subscribed to marketing communications, your email may remain on the marketing list until you unsubscribe or request removal. Purchasing an Entity Blueprint does not by itself mean that every email address is automatically retained for marketing.
Can You Request Earlier Deletion?
Yes. You may contact ORBIT-12 and request deletion of your Blueprint birth information before the maximum retention period ends.
We will process the request subject to any information that must still be retained for legal, security, payment, or dispute-related reasons.
Deleting the birth information early may limit our ability to:
- Regenerate the report
- Correct birth details
- Replace a missing file
- Investigate a chart-generation issue
You should therefore keep your delivered Blueprint PDF in a secure location.

Our Data-Minimisation Approach
ORBIT-12 does not need every possible detail about you to provide its services.
For the Free Profile, the goal is to avoid collecting birth information altogether.
For the Entity Blueprint, the goal is to collect only the details needed to:
- Create the report
- Deliver the report
- Provide reasonable customer support
- Meet applicable business and legal obligations
We do not describe birth data as harmless simply because it is used for astrology. A birth date, time, gender, and location can form a highly personal combination of information and should be handled carefully.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does ORBIT-12 store my birth data when I use the Free BaZi Profile?
No. The birth details entered into the Free BaZi Profile are processed in your browser and are not submitted to ORBIT-12 for storage by the calculator.
Does that mean the entire ORBIT-12 website collects no technical data?
No. The statement applies to the birth details entered into the Free Profile calculator. The wider website may use ecommerce, analytics, security, consent, or other technical services as described in the Privacy Policy.
Why does the Entity Blueprint need more information?
The Free Profile provides a simplified instant result. The Entity Blueprint creates a personalized report combining BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu, so it requires more detailed birth information and a delivery email.
Does the Entity Blueprint require my name for the chart?
Your name is not required to calculate the chart itself. However, Shopify may request your name as part of the purchase and payment process.
How long does ORBIT-12 keep Blueprint birth information?
It is retained for no longer than 90 days after the report is delivered and may be deleted earlier when it is no longer needed or when you request deletion.
Is the data always kept for exactly 90 days?
