What Stays Locked Without Your Exact Birth Time
The full name of BaZi is Four Pillars of Destiny (四柱). The four pillars are:
- Year Pillar — your birth year (zodiac sign lives here)
- Month Pillar — your birth month
- Day Pillar — your birth day (Day Master lives here)
- Hour Pillar — your birth time
Without your birth time, you're missing the fourth pillar — that's 25% of the system gone.
The Hour Pillar isn't just one extra layer. In traditional BaZi, it reveals:
